1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Savvi, you agree to these Terms and all applicable laws in Australia.

2. Nature of the Service

Savvi is a data aggregation and informational platform only.

Savvi:

  • Collects and displays pricing, nutrition, ingredient, and location data

  • Provides insights based on proximity


Savvi does not:

  • Sell products

  • Facilitate transactions

  • Act as a marketplace, retailer, or intermediary


3. Account Registration


You must:

  • Be at least 13 years old

  • Provide accurate information

You are responsible for account security.


4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases


4.1 Billing Platforms

Subscriptions are processed via:

  • Apple App Store

  • Google Play Store

Managed through RevenueCat.

4.2 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

  • Billing occurs through your App Store or Google Play account

4.3 Subscription Management

You can manage or cancel subscriptions via:

  • Apple ID account settings (iOS)

  • Google Play account settings (Android)


4.4 Free Trials

  • Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before expiry


4.5 Refunds

  • Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google

  • Savvi does not process refunds


4.6 Price Changes

Savvi reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. Changes will be communicated in accordance with App Store policies.

4.7 Platform Terms

Your use of in-app purchases is also subject to:

  • Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions

  • Google Play Terms of Service


5. No Facilitation of Purchases & Liability Disclaimer

Savvi does not facilitate or participate in purchases.

Users:

  • Make independent purchasing decisions

  • Interact directly with third-party retailers


Savvi is not liable for:

  • Any purchases made

  • Any misuse of product information

  • Any failure to comply with legal requirements


Age-Restricted Products

Savvi may display products such as alcohol.

Savvi:

  • Does not verify age for purchasing purposes

  • Is not responsible for any purchase involving restricted goods


Example:
If an underage user lists alcohol and another party purchases it, Savvi bears no liability.

6. No Reliance & Accuracy Disclaimer

Information may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Users must independently verify:

  • Pricing

  • Ingredients

  • Nutritional data

  • Availability


Savvi makes no guarantees regarding accuracy.


7. User-Generated Content

You grant Savvi a licence to use submitted content.

You are responsible for ensuring content is lawful and accurate.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Submit false or misleading data

  • Attempt to bypass subscription systems

  • Use the App unlawfully


9. Intellectual Property

All rights in the App remain with Savvi.

10. Third-Party Services

Savvi relies on third-party services including:

  • RevenueCat

  • Apple / Google platforms


Savvi is not responsible for third-party failures.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

Savvi is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Decisions made based on App data

  • Service interruptions


Liability is limited to re-supplying services where required by law.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Savvi, its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any:

  • Claims

  • Damages

  • Losses

  • Liabilities

  • Legal costs


arising out of:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your reliance on information

  • Any purchases made by you or third parties

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights


14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are breached

  • Misuse or unlawful activity is suspected


15. Service Availability

Savvi does not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime

  • Error-free operation

  • Availability of all features


We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Australian law.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

For clarity and legal protection:

Savvi is positioned as:

Savvi is not:

By using Savvi, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You do not rely solely on the App for decision-making

  • You assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on App data

  • Savvi bears no responsibility for real-world outcomes, including purchases
